Blackbough Swim for the win
If you’re like me, you love bikinis! No shame in that until you read your credit card bill and realize you may be treating yoself too often. Thankfully, Blackbough Swim is affordable af and their kinis are high quality. I was honestly shocked when I received my two sets in the mail. The low price tag had me a bit skeptical of how the kini was going to look and feel in person. As soon as I opened the package and touched the fabric I knew I was going to love it!
The Scarlet top and bottoms are one of the softest kinis I have ever put on my body. I kid you not it felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. It’s usually a hit or miss with my sizing but the small set fit me perfectly! The bottoms didn’t dig into my hips or cause any muffin top #winning The cheeky cut actually made my booty look fuller and perkier! As for the top, the minimal triangle design is perfect for babes on the go. Unlike traditional triangle tops, the Scarlet top goes straight back and has two adjustable straps. This provides support and ensures ideal fit!
Isn’t the mango gold color a dream? It made my Bahamas tan pop even more and looked gorgeous in the water.
Are you a babe that just wants to relax at the beach and work on your tan? Then you’ll absolutely adore Blackbough Swim’s Bahamas Caged top! The strapless kini is beautifully paired with three horizontal strings on the back. I wore this top the last couple days of my Bahamas trip to get rid of the pesky tan lines I accumulated. I was thrilled that the top didn’t slide or fall off at any point! I wasn’t running around in it but the waves were crashing pretty hard and the top stayed put. The Minimal bottom in my opinion look the best with the Bahamas Caged top because of the thin side strap. It brings out the detail of the caged back and completes this sexy look! I usually wear smaller coverage bottoms but the flirty Minimal bottom was ideal for family vacay.
RESORT 2018 PREVIEW:
When Blackbough Swim contacted me again to collab for their new 2018 collection I immediately said YES! I’ve already seen photos of the 2018 kinis and cannot wait for mine to be delivered. They’re definitely playing with new patterns and designs that appeal to all kini babes! There’s a red gingham print that is to die for. I’ve been lowkey loving the gingham but have yet to add it to my closet! So I’m particular pumped for the two different sets I saw with the print. One will be the Willow styled top and the other a brand new never before released top!
Are you a babe that’s in between sizes or weight fluctuates? Blackbough Swim Resort 2018 has you covered. All the tops I’ve been shown have adjustable straps. HOORAY! Personally, depending on the time of the month my boobs can fill out a lot more so I’m really excited about this feature. Also, high cut bottoms are here to stay! I’m a HUGE fan of the design. It’s extremely flattering! Last thing I’ll reveal is…some of the bottoms are thin strapped with a similar design much like the minimal bottoms but are now adjustable. Boom, mind blown. You can make the straps tighter or looser depending on your preference same way you would a bra!
