Loving the Krewe du Q

Two is better than one and that is why I’m loving the Krewe du Q. Alexa and Sophia Quirch are the boss babes behind the incredible label. The two cousins founded, designed, and created their line here in Miami. Adri and I with our Miami roots enjoy supporting our local girl gang, so you can imagine how happy we were to collaborate with such an amazing brand. Krewe du Q is a fun and flirty swim line with pieces that no girl can resist. I know I can’t 🙊 As soon as I discovered them on Instagram I couldn’t get them out of my head! Alexa and Sophia seriously killed it by pairing soft flirty details to their sexy design.

The Cat top has easily become one of my favorites! I’m obsessed with the flirty ruffle detail and sexy front knot that creates some serious cleavage. Feeling playful? Wear the ruffle strap off the shoulder and you have altered your look entirely. I love being able to adjust the suit dependent on my mood. I actually wore the Cat top and Compass bottom on Miami Beach before the shoot to test it out. I always want to give honest feedback to you babes before you purchase a kini I’ve blogged about.

I had a leisure day with my boyfriend, hanging out post work catching some rays. Although I wasn’t doing any extreme movements or activities the top gave me full support and stayed in place despite me swimming around like a mermaid. The waves would crash against my body and I didn’t experience any wardrobe malfunctions #winning

The Compass bottom is one I would recommend to all girls! It’s pretty cheeky without showing your entire booty. Maybe you’re more comfortable with a full coverage bottom but still want to display what all those squats have been working towards. This bottom is perfect for you. I normally opt for a more thong styled bottom because I believe less is more. The less fabric to cover my tush the bigger it appears 😅 BUT this style bottom really complimented my curves and had me feeling extremely confident like drinking an entire bottle of rosé level confidence.

I was really surprised by how much I loved the kini on me. I have wide hips so thin side bottoms are typically a hit or miss. Thankfully, these babes thought it out and created the right amount of stretch to fitted ratio. The Compass bottom is fitted enough not to ride up or down but stretchy enough to avoid a muffin top situation.

The Cat top and Compass bottom run true to size. Keep in mind this set is not adjustable whatsoever. Therefore, if you are in between sizes I’d suggest sizing up. I always tell the girls who DM me for sizing advice, it’s better to purchase something that actually fits you in all the right places instead of squeezing into a kini. I wore a size small for the top and bottom, which fit me great! *For reference, I’m a 32B + 24 waist*

Now that I have you crushing on this set the question is what color are you going with? Whether you’re team coral or blush, you can’t go wrong but I’m convinced that every girl should own a coral kini! It’s flattering, makes you look tanner, and will have you the center of attention. Who doesn’t want that? I was so stoked when Krewe Du Q added this new color to their collection 😍

Did someone say drinks? 😋 You can find the Krewe at Splash *7297 SW 57th Ave, Miami, FL 33143* this Friday (June 22nd) from 4:00 to 6:00PM. These babes know how to party! Their event will have mojitos, music, and a major giveaway. Krewe du Q is gifting one lucky kini lover a free suit, just in time for July 4th festivities. Do not miss this opportunity to meet the designers themselves and join the Krewe.

Cheers to all the amazing babes that support Adri and I in addition to all the wonderful brands we highlight on our blogs. We deeply appreciate our girl gang 🤗💕
